Our Annual Jam at Incline Industries, Sylvan Lake. Our event is 12-2 but the park will be open all day for scooters. Best Trick comp for 12 & under and 13 & over Cool prizes from our favorite scooter companies!

CALGARY SKATEPARK PROJECT- GET INVOLVED!

The City of Calgary has announced it is going forward with their plan to create new skateparks and skatespots. NOW is the time for scooter riders to get involved. We need your help. Open house are being held at the end of January - show up! Parents and kids need to be heard. The City has no idea how may kids are scootering. Let us show them we deserve safe and legal places to scooter.

Sunday July 7th at the Okotoks Skate Park. 1:30 start weather permitting. $5 entry fee, cash prizes. VSS is not putting this on but we plan to be there!

If you are in Southern Alberta, check out Global News at 6 and 11 - they interviewed us as well as a cool scooter rider and his Dad about the rise of scootering and the City of Calgary discriminating against scooters.

Scooter Discrimination - City of Calgary Does not allow us access to their Mobile Skateparks!

We went to the Mobile Skatepark located for now at Henry Wise Wood on Elbow Drive and were  told Skateboards only. This is wrong. Help us to fight this blatant discrimination.

1. We are taxpayers and our taxes go to the Mobile Skatepark program

2. There are thousands of kids in Calgary that scooter - far more than skateboard.

3. We need safe places to scooter just like skaters need safe places to skateboard.

4. They would see utilization of their Mobile Skateparks soar if they allowed scooters.

We had so much fun - thanks to Havoc Scooters for the giveaways and help in judging the best trick contest. The Havoc guys were great - watch for Joe's backflip! Chris and Connor won the contest, wish we had footage! What a great day for scooters in Calgary.
